All-Star Game? What a Joke!
I caught part of the All-Star game last night, and man was it awful. The National League just couldn't put anything together. The AL's got way better bats, hands down. You know something's wrong when David Eckstein is your starting shortstop and SS is so deep in the other league that Derek Jeter didn't even make the squad. The AL lineup was ridiculous. Manny and Papi are scary enough in the Red Sox lineup (I hate the Sox, but credit where credit is due). When they're surrounded by Tejada, Vlad, and Teixeira, that's it. Game over. If the NL had Barry and Chipper in their lineup they would have had a better chance, but as it stood it just wasn't an even matchup.
Speaking of Chipper, he's set to come off the DL next week along with Tim Hudson and Steve Finley. That's good news for my tied-for-last-place fantasy baseball team.

"Jeter didn't make the All Star squad". Finally. Jeter=Most Overrated SS in History. Good player. Clutch player. Still the 6th best SS in the AL the last 5 years.
